Favorite bridal bouquets 2012

We’ve been so honored to be a part of so many wonderful weddings (and inspiration shoots too) this year! Here are some of our favorite bridal bouquets from 2012.

Gotta kick it off with a peony bouquet right? Anne’s coral pink bouquet definitely makes the faves list.Delicious photography by: Erin J Saldana Photography

I was so excited to create this bouquet for Kristin, who got married to Ian at Carondelet House - a gorgeous and one of a kind venue.Rich and romantic photography by: John and Colette

Another fave from an inspiration shoot with A Stunning Affair & Events by Heather Ham

LOVE this pretty and feminine bouquet we did for a Claire Pettibone trunk show. We are always happy to be included in their events.

How fun and colorful is this chevron wrapped bouquet from our Huron Substation wedding this fall? Definitely a really cool vibe.

Ohhhhh how I love this English garden inspired bouquet for Amelia & Skeet’s wedding. Amelia added this amazing family heirloom brooch to seal the deal.Sublime photography by: Stephanie Williams Photography

This one might be my favorite all white bouquet – it certainly has my besties in terms of flowers: peonies!! Patience garden roses, scabiosa, sweet peas and a few gardenias for that heavenly scent.

I love the big bold succulent in this bouquet for Sara and Nik’s Rancho del Cielo wedding - another really sweet couple.Awesome photography by: Theron Photography

And now for a bit of bling bling – Kristin’s rhinestone studded bridal bouquet with gorgeous white cattleyas. Kristin and Troy got married at Loews Coronado Bay Resort in San Diego.Fabulous photography by: Pam Scott Photography

Orange, yellow and seafoam green – a unique and yummy combo don’t you think? We liked making this bridal bouquet for a wedding we had with Modern LA Weddings.

A sweet and feminine bouquet for a super sweet and feminine bride. Daryl-Ann was so great to work with and she was SO organized! Love that!Pretty photography by: Stephanie Fay Photography

Natural and organic bridal bouquet in purples, burgundy and green for a Villa Cascata wedding we did with The Elegant Ninja.

A colorful fall inspired bouquet for Faye & Eric’s wedding at Malibou Lake Mountain Club. We enjoyed working with First Pick Planning – Jen was awesome!

Last but not least in the slightest – we created this pretty for a Spanish inspiration shoot with Orange Blossom Special Events at Villa Mara.Swoon worthy photography by: Krista Mason Photography

3 wedding weekend

We had the pleasure and honor of being a part of 3 very different weddings this past weekend. Below is a little taste of the diversity.

Rancho del Cielo is one of our favorite venues and we were happy to create the florals for Sara and Nik’s wedding. Succulents abound there so we incorporate a lot of them to go with the natural southern California surroundings.

Amelia and Skeet got married at the Figueroa Farmhouse in Los Olivos. And wow, the venue is more than breathtaking. We created rustic and romantic florals that had a slight touch of English garden (Amelia is British!). Will share more from this wedding in another post.

For Jamie and David, we created rich and dramatic florals for their nuptials.

Jaclyn & Nate’s wedding at Westlake Village Inn

Jaclyn is one of the sweetest brides. She contacted Peony & Plum because  she loved a wedding we did back in May and wanted the florals for her wedding to be almost exactly the same. It’s been a total pleasure working with her throughout the whole process. And as always, working with Mary Sushinski of Occasions was smooth and seamless.

We’re excited to see Mi Belle’s gorgeous photography of Jaclyn & Nate’s big day but in the meantime here are some pix we took of their wonderful nuptials.

Congratulations Jaclyn and Nate! XOXO

The rain stopped just long enough for us to set up the ceremony outside. And it didn’t kick back in till the tail end of the ceremony.

feather bouquets and boutonnieres

We loved creating these feather embellished personals. Feathers always add a wonderfully romantic and textural effect.

In this case we added pretty blush pink and white ostrich feathers for an Old Hollywood glamour inspired wedding at the Ebell of Los Angeles.

Peacock Feathers

We also love using peacock feathers (especially the baby ones!) when the style calls for multi-cultural glam. These amazing photos by www.picottephotography.com
